- Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Be majoring in criminal justice or a related field like public safety, forensic science, or legal studies.
- Exhibit leadership potential and a dedication to community service or justice reform.
- Submit a personal essay (500–1,000 words) that outlines their passion for the field and their career goals.
- Provide two letters of recommendation: one academic and one from a mentor, community leader, or employer (excluding family members).

- A 500–1,000 word essay in Word Doc format responding to:
“Identify an industry in the world that you believe is in dire need of improvement, and explain how a new and innovative business idea could revolutionize this industry for the better.” - Personal information, including:
